Suriya, Anushka and Hansika's "Yamudu 2" has released worldwide today in huge number of theatres. This movie is a completely commercial action entertainer. Yamudu 2 is directed by Hari. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is the main attraction of the movie here. British actor Danny plays opponent role. Yamudu 2 is approaching with the caption of ‘An Indian Police’. Even surroundings also different here in the movie. Yamudu 2 is not like that.
Coming to Story it will starts closely where the Yamudu earliest part split ends after Narasimham (Suriya) is given a special duty by Home Minister (Vijay Kumar). Now the Indian Police official is due to the responsibility to clean off Arms and Drugs Smuggling Mafia in the region of Vizag and Kakinada port areas. Narasimham is relived as DSP.Later he joins as a NCC Teacher in a college to finish the base work. To know how the villan Thyagaraju (Raghu Rahman), Bhai (Mukesh Rishi) supporting the Drugs industry.
These two competitors are the local Mafia groups underneath the Drugs business of International Drug Cartel Danny (Danny). He is basically a Nigerian. On the otherhand Narasimham because of his police postponed his marriage with Kavya (Anushka).Mean time when he is in college his student Sathya (Hansika) falls in love for the boldness of Narasimham. She is the daughter of Thyagaraju’s brother. What happens next? What is the complete story? For that you must watch the movie on big screen…
Analysis:
Coming to analysis of the movie Suriya is the backbone here. His action is big plus and dialougues are really superb. After Suriya joins the duty as DSP, there is no break for audience. After interval, the movie script has reached a point. It appears that, the real pleasure of accomplishment lied in second half. The solid work and idealism check on how Police Officers prepare their intelligent first attempt to spot the criminals. Sanathanam comic episode also worthy here. Both the first half and second half are ok here. Hansika and Anushka are done well here. Raghu Rahman, Mukesh Rishi as Drugs mafia done a wonderful job. Nigereon Mafia don Danny role is the main attraction of the movie. He has done a rewardable job here. Overall movie is good.
Performances:
Coming to Performances this is definitely one man show of Suriya. Coming to dialogue delivery and facial expressions as a police officer, he is a perfect fit here. Fights also well executed. Suriya has lived the role. Anushka is looking gorgeous here. She is not having that much role in the movie. Hansika is just ok here. Vivek is very funny. Santhanam also fetch some of the laughs here. Mafia roles Danny Sapani, Rahman, Mukesh Rishi and Rajendran done pefect jobs. But no one reaches Prakash Raj’s action. Rest of the cast also done justice to their respective roles here.
Technicalities:
Coming to the technical aspects the attention-grabbing screen play and extrordinary direction added with awesome stunts. Suriya is an Artist who blow up with energy. Cinematography by Priyan is praiseworthy. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is really superb. Script also too good. Anala Arasu’s stunt composition is definitely a top notch. Priyan’s camera work is rewardable. Editing by VT Vijayan and TS Jay is really superb. Dialogues by Shashank Vennelakanti are superb here. Production values of Studio Green and Prince Pictures are good.
Final Word: Suriya’s “Yamudu 2” is definitely a worthy watch on this weekend. There are no loop holes in the movie.
