As we all know that, Racha fame Sampath Nandi is going to direct Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh 2. It is a sequel of ‘Gabbar Singh’ which turned out to be a super hit in the year 2012, and Pawan Kalyan’s role in the film became extremely popular.
When asked about the film, Sampath Nandi says that the Gabbar Singh character has the potential to be a franchise. “Pawan Kalyan has given the character of Gabbar Singh an iconic status. The characterization, the mannerisms and the style can all be utilised as a brand. Gabbar Singh 2 will utilise these aspects of the character and tackle an all new story line. It is not related to ‘Dabangg 2' at all”, said Sampath Nandi.
The idea of a Gabbar Singh franchise is definitely quite interesting. ‘Gabbar Singh 2' will go on to the sets later this year.
